ZACKER privacy overview

ZACKER provides a public company website and develops RingMail, a mobile utility for chainmail artisans, jewelry makers, and historical costumers. The app is designed for local craft planning records such as pattern selections, ring count calculations, aspect ratio references, material inventory, saved project notes, unit settings, and gauge preferences.

No app registration

RingMail does not require account creation, login, or user authorization for normal use.

No personal data collection

The app does not collect, log, retain, sell, or share personal information through normal use.

Local-first records

Craft calculations, project notes, weave choices, and inventory entries are treated as local device records unless a future feature clearly states otherwise.

RingMail application

RingMail helps users calculate ring counts, browse weave patterns, check aspect ratio guidance, manage material inventory, save project archives, and adjust workshop preferences such as inches, millimeters, centimeters, AWG, SWG, mm, and default metal presets.

RingMail is a craft planning, ring count, weave reference, and inventory utility. It is not certified protective armor validation, jewelry manufacturing certification software, material safety certification software, professional engineering software, historical reconstruction certification, or a replacement for craft experience, supplier specifications, material testing, workshop safety, or professional judgment.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the RingMail app for mobile devices, together with any related services operated by ZACKER SP Z O O, collectively referred to as the “Application”. ZACKER SP Z O O is referred to as the “Service Provider”.

Effective date: 2026-06-22

What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

The Application does not collect, log, or store any personal information when you download and use it. Registration is not required. If the Application is used with an active internet connection, technical protocol data, such as an ephemeral IP address, may be transmitted only to facilitate network connectivity. This data is not retained, profiled, sold, or used for tracking by the Service Provider.

Local craft records may include project names, custom notes, layout pattern selections, width and length values, wire gauge selections, inner diameter values, ring count results, aspect ratio ranges, weave library preferences, project tags, material inventory counts, metal type selections, saved calculations, dimension unit preferences, gauge standard preferences, default metal presets, and app settings. These records are intended to remain on the user’s device unless a future feature clearly states otherwise.

Does the Application collect precise real-time location information?

No. RingMail does not collect precise real-time location information from your mobile device.

Do third parties see or have access to information?

Since the Application does not collect personal information through normal use, no personal data is shared with third parties. ZACKER does not sell personal data.

Data Retention

RingMail does not collect or retain personal information on ZACKER servers through normal app use. Any local project records, calculations, inventory entries, weave selections, notes, unit preferences, gauge standards, and app settings are stored locally on the user’s device and remain under the user’s control.

If you voluntarily contact ZACKER by email or through another direct channel, the information you provide may be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your request, maintain business correspondence, or satisfy applicable legal obligations.

Data Deletion

Because the Application does not collect personal data through normal use, there is no app-held personal data for ZACKER to delete from its servers. You can remove local app records by deleting them within the app where available, clearing app data through your device settings, or uninstalling the Application.

If you voluntarily provided information to ZACKER by email or another direct contact method, you may request deletion of that information by contacting support@zacker.it.com.

Children

The Application is not intended for children under 13 years of age, or a higher age where required by applicable law. The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit personal data from children or market to them. Since RingMail does not collect personal information through normal use, children’s personal data is not collected by the Application itself.

Security

Because the Application does not collect personal data through normal use, the risk of personal data exposure from the app is minimal. However, no security system is completely secure. The Service Provider uses reasonable safeguards for systems and any information voluntarily provided through direct contact.

Data breach notification

Since the Application does not collect personal data through normal use, the risk of a data breach affecting app-held personal data is minimal. If a breach occurs involving any information you voluntarily provided directly to ZACKER, the Service Provider will notify affected individuals where required by applicable law.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by posting an updated Privacy Policy with a new effective date. Previous versions may be made available upon request.

Your consent

If you voluntarily provide information to the Service Provider and processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.

Responsible use notice

RingMail is a chainmail craft planning, ring count, weave reference, inventory, and project archive utility. It does not certify protective armor, jewelry manufacturing quality, material safety, historical reconstruction accuracy, or professional engineering performance. Users are responsible for verifying materials, testing prototypes, following workshop safety practices, and applying professional judgment.
